Abstract

　　本文旨在釐清孫中山的民主觀點，包括強調主權在民，重視自由、人權，提倡政黨政治等，接著陳述二十世紀末興起的第三波民主化浪潮，進而分析臺灣民主化的經驗，最後探討中國大陸未來民主化的可能途徑。

Abstract

　　This paper is aimed to clarify the democratic thought of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, including an emphasis of popular sovereignty, the protection of freedom and human rights, and the promotion of party politics. It also provides an account of the emergence of the third wave of democratization in the late twentieth century and an analysis of Taiwan's experience of democratization. The paper concludes with a discussion of the possible path that China might take to democracy.
