全文內容: 　　孫中山一生的革命活動與新加坡等東南亞各地密不可分。新加坡愛國華人在物質、精神上提供援助，成為孫中山堅強後盾，為革命事業的成功作出了不可磨滅的貢獻。這方面已有不少論文和專著涉及，但關於英政府對孫中山在新加坡等地進行革命活動所持的的態度，研究仍很薄弱。本文依據英國公佈的外交部有關檔案材料，對這一問題作進一步的探索，以期對孫中山在新加坡革命活動的背景有更深入的洞悉。
　　自興中會成立到民國成立以前的近二十年時間，孫中山長期奔波於海外各地，把海外華僑的聚集地當作革命的根據地，發起反清攻勢。此間，孫中山曾九次來到新加坡，（註1）為新加坡革命風氣的開啟，華僑團結與愛國意識的高漲做出了不懈的努力與貢獻，使新加坡成為南洋革命活動的中心舞臺。本文主要根據國內保存編輯的史料，英國外交部的一些原始檔案以及一般性著述撰寫而成，著重論述了孫中山在新加坡的革命活動及英政府對當其採取的政策，以期對孫中山從事革命鬥爭的曲折歷程與頑強精神有更加深刻的認識。

全文內容: 　　Dr. Sun yat-sen's revolution has close relations with South Eastern countries, such as Singapore. The overseas Chinese there supply much material and spiritual assistance to revolution, which were Dr. Sun's strong support. Many studies have been discussed this aspect, however, the research on the British government's attitude towards the revolution led by Dr. Sun has much to be clarified. According to some publicized archives in British Public Records, those articles mainly probe in this problem, which can help us more deeply discern the background of the revolution.
