合作畫作為一種繪畫形式自古有之,如畫家雅集、文人切磋,重視藝術家之間的默契,過程中須協調各人的風格及特點,創作難度甚高,當中尤其著重情感交流和畫風融合。《寶島長春圖卷》是現存臺灣最長的集體創作圖卷,高約2 米,長近66 公尺,畫作內容呈現出1981 年臺灣的自然山川與重大建設,不僅是一件巨幅山水畫作,更是臺灣美術發展過程中,一個重要的歷史現場。
此畫由張大千、黃君璧、張穀年、胡克敏、李奇茂、羅芳、范伯洪、蘇峰男、羅振賢、蔡友等,老中青三代10 位水墨畫家,歷經數次環島寫生,並參考向軍方特別取得的空拍照片,合力分段繪製而成,圖卷以多視點構圖,連接臺灣各地變換的風貌,在層疊與交錯中,融合時間與空間,讓觀者欣賞時,猶如隨目光遊歷其境。
本文簡述本畫作的創作背景,並對合作畫作進行簡要回顧,讓此合作畫的定位越發明確。

全文內容

The collaborative painting has been a form of painting since the ancient time. For example, the gatherings of painters and the discussion of the literati focus on the mutual understanding between the artists. The different styles and characteristics have to be coordinated in the process with high creative difficulty, especially the exchanges of feelings and the integration of painting styles. “Formosa Evergreen Scroll” is the longest existing scroll of collective creation in Taiwan. Two meters wide and nearly 66 meters long, the painting presents the natural landscape and significant construction of Taiwan in 1981. It is not only a huge landscape painting but also an important historical scene in the development process of fine arts in Taiwan.

The painting was painted section by section by Zhang Da-qian, Huang Jun-bi, Chang Ku-nien, Hu Ke-Min, Lee Chi-Mao, Lo Fong, Fan Bo-Hung, Su Fung-Nan, Lo Cheng-hsien, and Tsai Yu, the ten ink painters from the senior, middle-aged, and young generations, after several times of sketching around the island and referring to the drone photos specially obtained from the military. The scroll composed of multiple viewpoints connects the different scenes in Taiwan. Time and space are integrated in the interlaced and juxtaposed scenes. When the viewers appreciate the work, they will feel as if they traveled to the real places with their eyes.

This article briefly introduces the creative background of the painting and reviews the collaborative painting to make its positioning clear.
